At The Magpie Centre, our horses are at the heart of everything we do. They play an incredible role in supporting our clients, building confidence, developing skills, and creating life-changing experiences every single day.
We are currently looking for some very special additions to our team:
- A 15.2hh Ride & Drive horse
- A 16.2hh riding horse
Because of the nature of our work, finding the right horses is so important. Our ideal partners are calm, kind, and exceptionally reliable, often described as “bombproof.” They need to be unflappable in a variety of environments and confident in situations that might feel busy or unpredictable.
What we’re looking for:
Our horses must be:
- Quiet, sensible, and steady
- Comfortable around crowds, traffic, and different environments
- Suitable for working with riders with disabilities
- Happy to live out
- Ideally cob types, known for their versatility and temperament
These horses will be supporting a wide range of riders, so safety and reliability are absolutely essential.
A Home Where They’ll Truly Matter
We understand how much these horses mean to their owners, which is why we offer a knowledgeable, caring, and experienced home. Each horse becomes a valued member of our team and is cared for with the respect and attention they deserve.
We are open to both loan or purchase options, depending on what works best.
