The Magpie Centre Joins The Pony Club as a Linked Riding Centre

Opening up new opportunities for Pony Club riders, coaches, and our wider community

The Magpie Centre is proud to announce that we are now an official Pony Club Linked Riding Centre – joining a nationwide network of over 400 riding centres working in partnership with The Pony Club to provide outstanding opportunities for young riders and their coaches.

This exciting new partnership brings a host of benefits to our Centre, and we’re looking forward to making the most of everything The Pony Club has to offer.

What is a Linked Riding Centre?

The Pony Club’s Linked Riding Centre scheme is designed to help riding centres like ours expand what we can offer to Pony Club members – from training and achievement badges to national competitions and coach development.

As a Linked Centre, we are now able to offer Pony Club membership to our riders, giving them access to a wealth of opportunities to grow in confidence, knowledge, and ability both in the saddle and in horse and pony care.

What does this mean for our riders?

Riders who become members through The Magpie Centre will have access to:

• Internationally recognised Tests and Achievement Badges to help them progress their riding and pony care skills
• The chance to take part in regional and national Pony Club competitions, including the Blue Cross Care Competition, The Pony Club National Quiz, and the prestigious Pony Club Championships

These experiences are not only fun and rewarding but also help build confidence, teamwork, and responsibility.

A boost for coaches, too

It’s not just our riders who benefit – our coaches will also gain access to high-quality training and professional development, including:

• CPD and safeguarding courses
• The opportunity to work towards The Pony Club Coaching Certificate
• Ongoing support from a dedicated regional Centre Coordinator

In addition, our team now has access to The Pony Club’s new CRM system to help manage memberships and renewals more efficiently.
